For middle school students who are new to the essay, it is necessary to understand three basic parts: introduction, body, and conclusion. However, at the high school level and above, the essays will become more complex and rigorous, an essay will be more rigorous and logical, then an essay will include 5 paragraphs. A five-paragraph essay consists of an opening paragraph with a topic sentence, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Ideally, students should develop body paragraphs with clear thesis statements and examples to support the topic sentence.
There is no rule that says how many paragraphs every essay should have! But ideally and with a quality essay, 5 paragraphs is the most complete.
To have a complete essay structure, you should use all the required and additional sections. Thus, the work will be clear, and scientific, causing sympathy with the teacher, so the score will be higher.

Each section, the introduction, body, and conclusion, has a specific purpose. This also means that the reader will look for the expected characteristics in each of those sections. A traditional essay does not include headings. On the contrary, it will consist of paragraphs, and each paragraph will have its own argument or purpose that the author needs to clarify by using topic sentences to make his point. The topic sentence is placed at the beginning of the paragraph.
However, teachers have become more flexible in the criteria they set for students and in some cases have allowed students to use headings in their essays. Essays of this type are often referred to as “report essays”. In addition to the 3 main parts, the essay structure must have a table of contents and references.
If you use abbreviations or diagrams in your essay, add a list of abbreviations, a list of tables and figures, and a table of contents.
